Off and running on this year’s challenge!

I’m up to my eyes in historical research, and now it’s time to write the story. It will be historical fiction, one of those darn books “based on actual events.” There’s plenty of documentation on the accomplishments of the record-setting aviator, Wiley Post. But much less is known about his private life, which is fascinating. This book will celebrate his many accomplishments, many difficult periods of his life, and the challanges of mounting his expensive experiments.

Wiley had friends, admirers, rival, and, apparently enemies who tried to kill him.

But, then, I’m getting ahead of myself. This story will be pounded out, day by day, with this launch in the 2022 NaNoWriMo. Stay tuned for more!
