#HumorHandbook Project on Medium and Facebook
You can be a part of the conversation and the development of the humor handbook. It’s a long-considered project of setting down my thoughts on comedy and a key take-aways from more than 40 years of studying and practicing humor-writing and comedy.
Here’s where you can follow my progress on Medium, and then Facebook, as well as Twitter, @humorhandbook.
Whatever works for you, I’d love to hear your suggestions as I write my handbook.
Thanks.

Awesome project!!
Looking forward to it. Do you have a humor inspiration or favorite writer?
I have several in mind. There’s Bill Byson, whose approach is to do travel writing that weaves interesting research with his often gone-awry plans. Mary Roach is an amazing researcher who writes about everything from the science of sex, to what we do with cadavers, to the technology of army grunts, to ghosts, to what we’ll take to Mars. Her approach is to find the weird science, and then writing about her process of doing the research. She even talks about her husband and her being a part of sex research. Awkward and hilarious.
